My Happy Place

Good Morning Girls....Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my wins at the local show pavilion.

I want to share with you today photos of me in my happy place!!! I took these photos on Tuesday before I knew that I had won at the show...So to come home and find out that I had cleaned up at the show winning $200 in vouchers for printing, inks and photo paper!!! Woo Hoo....Wonder if I am able to buy a new printer my old one is starting to leave marks on my photos. Grr but I just cover it with an embellishment.
And these next couple of photos are of the wildlife that was around while I was out there for 4 1/2 hrs....See that big arse bull, he stalked me!!! I had to hide behind this huge tree right on the bank of the river. Melbourne Cup Show Entries

Hello Strangers...Sorry I haven't been here in a while!!! Well as we all know tomorrow is Melbourne Cup.....Here in the Ville we have a declared holiday for our show!!! So for the past couple of days I have been sorting my photos as we have a show pavillion where we can enter our photos into about 20 different categories. I think I entered about 33 photos

A lazy Thurs afternoon by the river

Yesterday I had such a lovely lazy afternoon.....Baz & I went to the river....to our favourite spot. I actually asked him to prepare me a romantic picnic while I was at work for an hour...Well that sent him into a spin!!! Barry wouldn't know ROMANCE if it bit him on the bum...But he did however throw in my pillows so had a comfy spot to rest my head on the blanket!!!I also got to take some photos of Dragonflies, Birds in the distance and a lil baby calf!!And we also got to do a spot of fishing....But first you have to find the worms...
well that is Baz job!!! And then we also had some very unwelcome visitors...Yeh Snakes!!! 3 of them...only got 2 in photos though!

Photo update...Anyone still interested in my photo blog???

Hello once again to all my loyal followers...Ohhh that is if I have any cause I have been neglecting this blog so much lately. Yes I have been taking photos but just not getting over here and putting them on my blog LOL!!! So I felt it was time for an update....

I would love to get into Wedding Photography but just haven't been asked yet...
But I like to try be creative when taking photos...Water cascading over a local causeway....nothing more peaceful than watching water cascade over anything
Roses....who doesn't like roses especially home grown ones this beautiful...
This rose is growing in my Mum's yard...it has the most glorious blooms on it!Here is another floral bloom...this time it is an OrchidWhile I was visiting Mum for her 60th I got this photo of a Rainbow Lorikeet

I did my first ever photo shoot for my friend's DD - Jody on Sat for our local school ball...WOW It was so exciting I loved every minute of it....But this is what I had the most fun taking photos of....Capturing Bubbles

OMG My poor neglected blog!!! Sorry to my loyal followers

OMG I am so so sorry to my loyal followers for not posting sooner!!!

I have been taking heaps of cool photos lately...got a bit lost within myself there for a lil while....I didn't do too much of anything!!! Well I am back out on the road with my trusty camera and capturing anything and everything!!

Murray's Bay - Bowen

On Sunday I had the pleasure of going to Bowen again...this time to watch Hannah Montana...go see it, it is a great chick flick!!! Paradise found...take me away to this beautiful place

Yesterday I had to go to Airlie Beach again....Baz needed to have his tooth repaired....it was very ouchy on his tongue and our bank balance!!! Ohh well, that is life! There was an upside to yesterday I got to play with my new camera!

I found the perfect destination....Shute Harbour and all the views over the ocean!
MMMMM dreaming of a beautiful location like this one day when I am rich and famous LOL! I took some very random shots of unusual things

Then we went to Abel Point Marina and I took a lot of photos of the Marina but I also found all of these to take photos of too! Will share the Marina photos another day. Love the shutter speed on my auto setting...it allowed me to get these photos of this white bird during flight! And as we were leaving the white bird was grooming itself!!!

I have decided that I love taking photos on my macro setting...getting really up close and personal.
Ohhh I am sure that I have bored you all tonight...I am like you Sue....
